Street Photography in Nepal's Capital City
I met this man on the last day of my 2018 trip to Nepal. Other than soaking up one more day of beautiful chaos, I was also on the hunt for street photos, especially portraits. I felt the man in my presence before we looked at each other face to face. I was obviously a tourist and he was curious about what I was doing. I gestured to my camera and then pointed to him - my way of asking permission. He nodded yes. A little surprised, I nervously click off a few images. Although I'm bummed that the focus on his eyes isn't sharp, I still like how the image feels - vulnerable. There's definitely a bit of tension, something that makes the image a keeper.
